bullet INTERFACE REVIEWS
Many times technical writers are engrossed in software feature documentation. Writers look at how features are organized in the software, whether dialog box labels—if they exist—make sense to users, and how menu options are phrased.

Keypoint participates in user interface reviews as a standard part of writing the product documentation. We evaluate window displays, menu options, dialog box layouts, error message text, and task flows.

 
GUI reviews
Keypoint has evaluated screen layouts and menu hierarchy for several graphical user interfaces for companies such as Intel, CP&L, and MediQual. We work with Marketing and Development to relate user tasks to menu and window options.
